Learn A Word A day

     APSCERT  planned and introduced an innovative programme to develop vocabulary among learners.It is a great opportunity to enrich the Communication skills of the learners.    

 "Learn A word A day "is a programme which was started On 15th February and continues till 15th April.

  Objectives of this programme(My Perspectives)


      * It develops the dictionary reference skill of the children.

     *  It is helpful to develop reading skill of the learner.

     *  It enables the pupils to identify the parts of speech.

     *It helps to find out the synonyms &antonyms.

      *Children able to collaborate easily online and offline.

      *Helpful to develop creative thinking while using the word in their own sentences.

       So it is useful to the learner to attain 21st century skills(4Cs)

            1)Communication

            2)Collaboration

             3)Critical thinking

              4)Creativity

    Hence I am facilitating  my learners to enrich their vocabulary. Everyday practising the given words in the schedule.Children are enthusiastic to learn a word a day.Conducted 2 Spell_Bees .

Children responses are recorded in teacher's diary & mobile video.
