The Brave Little Mouse
Once upon a time, in a vast forest, there lived a small mouse named Max. Max was tiny and timid, often afraid of the larger animals that roamed the forest. He would scurry away at the first sign of danger, hiding in his burrow until he felt safe again.
One sunny afternoon, as Max was foraging for food, he heard a loud, desperate roar echoing through the trees. Curious but fearful, he cautiously followed the sound and discovered a mighty lion trapped in a hunter’s net.
The lion was thrashing about, trying to break free, but the more he struggled, the tighter the net became.Max felt a mix of fear and pity as he watched the powerful lion in distress. Gathering all his courage, he approached the lion and said, “Don't worry, I will help you.”The lion, exhausted and desperate, looked at the tiny mouse and laughed, “You? How can a small creature like you help me?”Ignoring the lion’s disbelief, Max began to gnaw at the ropes with his sharp little teeth. Slowly but steadily, he chewed through the thick ropes, and after a long while, he managed to free the lion from the net.
The lion stood up, shaking off the remnants of the trap, and looked at Max with gratitude and newfound respect. “Thank you, brave little mouse,” he said. “You have saved my life. I will never forget your bravery and kindness.”From that day on, the lion and the mouse became the best of friends. The lion, once proud and mighty, learned to respect even the smallest of creatures, and Max realized that true bravery comes from facing your fears and helping others, no matter how small you are.
*Bravery is not about size or strength, but about facing your fears and doing what is right. Even the smallest acts of courage can have a powerful impact.
