Let me grab an opportunity to share a few words about  ECHO India

          What is ECHO?

                E_ Extension for

                C_ Community

                H_ Healthcare

                O_ Outcomes

  ECHO is an organization working towards healthcare,education and other sustainable development goals.

WHY  IS ECHO?

* To aware  us about sustainable lifestyle.

 * To conserve and protect the finite resources and move more towards sustainable supplies.

* To reduce and better to avoid plastic  consumption to save marine and aquatic life.

* To resolve  many environmental  issues like global warming.

* To transform or modify  human behaviour(Behaviour Change) in view of Environment.

      This Programme was lead with Coordination of APNGC &ECHO India.

The role of Hub team (APNGC) and the support of ECHO project team is amazing.

Mode of the programme

  This is a 6 month programme which was started in April -2022& Ended in September -2022.

       *This Programme was a synchronous online programme.

*Zoom link was sent through E_Mail to the participants before commencing the programme.

*Highlights and captures are recorded and sent through whatsup group.

* Priority given to individual opinion sharing.

Criteria of the Programme:

    * Didactic Presentation: 

          Each session was engaged with an environmental issue/Topic.Contemporary problems were discussed.

     * Case study: Teachers presented their local environmental issues , their strategies to overcome those issues.

    * Recommondations &Questions

    Based on the didactic presentation and case study ,the other participants expressed their views and opinions in this.Timely responses are helpful to make the programme more lively.

   *Feedback

      Feed back forms are submitted  through the google form by the participants for each session with their learnings aspects.

Objectives of the programme

   * To aware the students about Environment protection .

  *To get the behavioural change among the people.

*To teach sustainable management.

*To diagnose the problems/threats of the Environment,think of solutions, Implement the strategies to overcome that issue.

* To inculcate the concepts  of conservation, Recover and rethink.

   Glimpses of the course:

Each session gave us great learning opportunity.Environment education has provided scientific temper among us to identify the problems,formulate Hypothesis and implement the strategies in our locality.Sharing of opinions lead to good collaboration and communication.Wide scope for Critical thinking to solve our environmental problems through behavioural change. 

  The topics which were covered in the sessions are very much useful to communicate the learners and publc.

Have a glance at my Perspectives: 

   *Able to communicate in online collaboration.

    * Understood the scenarios of the Environment Education.

    * Due to Mobile radiation, Airpollution etc Many birds are endangered.So communication towards conservation of birds is very useful learning.

* Environment communication should be pragmatic. Then only Behaviour change is possible.Kitchen garden,Plastic ban,Planting trees etc are discussed.

* Blue planet is suffering from water pollution. Water is very precious resource.It is our responsibility to sustain this for future generation. So,factors of water pollution and prevention measures are discussed. Differences between RO water and Normal water are also the minutes in the sessions.

* Bio_Diversity and how superstitions affecting this ,,is discussed.

* Air pollution factors,strategies to prevent in our locality to control global warming are suggested in the session.

*Waste management is also a part of Environment Education.Segregation of Wastage is  not up to mark .,So we must aware of  this.

* Inculcated awareness of Energy Management.Solar energy,  Gobar gas etc are the  minutes discussed.

* *Soil conservation is very essential because our food and growth is depending on this .So it is also a good learning topic.

* Previleged to be a part of this learning Programme.

*with this inspiration our students prepared many posters ,Slogans etc to protect Environment.

Wind up with Post Test : 

 *At the end of the Programme a post test was conducted through Google form online with 22 questions.

Assignment: 

  An assignment is given to us as authentic learning to write a qualitative presentation of the programme,which gives scope for us to read various perspectives.

Time to Thank  💐💐

 *  We pay hearty gratitude to APNGC &ECHO for this Programme.Applause to the Hard work of Hub team(APNGC), Encouragement of approachable ECHO team.

*We got a chance to listen the speeches and transactions of various subject experts from all over state and apart from our state. Thanks to each and every one for your valuable words.

* APCOST delegates and other NGOs  interacted and shared their views ,Thanks to one and all.

Conclusion :  

   UNO suggested 17 Global goals to achieve by the end of 2030.These Goals are interrelated to each other.These support Nation's economic growth also.

* Quality of education is depending on the Good health&Well being of the learners.

* clean water & Sanitation supports good health.

 So,Environment  Education is the primary need in attaining Quality Education.

"EARTH is the God's best gift to us.We made it worse.Let's care for it ,Save the Green,fight Global Warming"
