               Let's have a glance at my perspectives on   PEER LEARNING COMMUNITY.

       

          "The Peer Learning Community " is a contextual design for learning.

     *It aims to the development of a conceptual model and implications in the design of learning experiences.

     * It develops personal and professional growth.

Before PLC first fix the aim /Goal of the process.

The role of facilitator is to create a supportive environment.

                    Stake holders :

          * Head Master & Teachers

           * Students

         *Community

        

Let's see  the components of the "Peer Learning Community".

Objectives of the Peer Learning Community :

   

*  SELF-AWARENESS :

In the PLC, all the participants have an idea of the prescribed goal of the process and have  chances to contribute and share their views and opinions. Should have freedom to give constructive feedback to the team.

*SELF-MANAGEMENT :

  Respecting each others ideas,encouraging creative,critical thinking and avoiding criticism.

*COMMUNICATION :

   Should aware of online and offline collaboration tools. Should plan how and when

to implement the selected ideas or plans.

INFLUENCE :

 Should discuss the outcomes of the ideation to all the participants.

CONFLICT MANAGEMENT:

   Should aware of disputes and disagreements that causes stress and damage relationships which also destroy trust.Needs proper plans to get solutions.

* OBSERVATION & FEED BACK :

Should collect feedback from all the participants to improve future plans. Should conduct review of the programme process and plan for re-start.

Hence, "Peer Learning Community" is  a useful design to build confidence and develops mutual understanding.

 It is also helpful to collaborative problem-solving.
