            Let me a share a few lines about "EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP IS CREATING AN ATMOSPHERE OF POSSIBILITIES"

Introduction:

   

    Continuing Professional Development is essential to the facilitator to get success in reciprocal transaction.

     

    *English is the global gateway and cultural bridge. So memorization of lessons is not a matter in the present scenario.

     * So NEP suggested revising instructional programmes in an effort to meet society's demands for the 21st century.

      The role of English teachers is very prominent in moulding the learners as global citizens. Learners not only observe, they also imitate us.So as a facilitator of Window language, I prefer to attend many online and offline training programmes. In this process Recently I have attended a webinar by ELTAI Pune Channel by Dr Maithri Pandey.

      

          *Let me share "Minutes of  my Mind "

    

      * "Facilitators must go beyond the textbooks,go into the bypaths and untrodden depths of wilderness,travel , explore and tell the world the glories of our journey."_John Hope Franklin

      *English language is the lingua franca and literature enables the readers to form a set of values and attitudes.It can function as a change agent as it deals with the human condition and can contribute to the emotional development and also foster positive interpersonal attitudes.

* Facilitator should engage in different roles like 

        *Teaching

        * Learning

        *Mentoring

       * Administrating

       * Research

        * Perform Extension Activity etc,.

         

 * REFLETIVE LEARNING:-

        " Reflection " needs to happen in community ,in interaction with others.

        Reflection is a systematic and disciplined way of thinking,rooted in scientific inquiry.

       Reflective Learning focuses on the development of critical thinking skills through the internal process of examining strengths and exploring areas for improvement.

   "  REFLETIVE LEARNING " is the beginning of the critical transformation of thinking that results in reflective practice which is putting into action what has been learned from past experiences and how this can be positive for personal and collective growth by sharing these experiences with different people."_John Dewey

REFLECTION in Action: 

      It develops scientific temper among the learners. Facilitator encourages the learners to diagnose the problem,define and find the meaning then,guages the solution.It supports and enhances Problem solving skill of the learners.

       *Question the purpose 

       * Find meaning

       * Gauge  the outcomes

       *Review the tools.

REFLECTION on Action :

        *Critically analyse

        * Leverage Learning

        * Reinforce strengths

        * Overcome shortcomings

Conclusion:

                The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows. Classroom transaction should influence the learners' real life context. Experiential learning is preferable to get better outputs. Critical thinking and Creativity develops thought provoking skill of the learners.So Instead of rote byeheart method,we should shift paradigm. Encourage learners to construct their thoughts which lead to new inventions.

      Hence these REFLETIVE LEARNING strategies are helpful to attain Quality of Education .
